MORE Cowbell!

http://www.funnyhub.com/videos/pages/snl-more-cowbell.html
Crazy Cory from B-town came to visit last weekend and we were able to get tickets to the Caps game 3 against the Rangers! (We sat by a lady that had not one but two cowbells. One for each hand!) The Caps ended up making a come back and beat the Rangers and are now doing the same to the Pittburg Penguins!! Eee! So hope they go all the way!

Aya's Wedding and Cherry Blossoms

Eeeeck, I'm so very behind on postings! I've been meaning to post pictures of Aya's wedding and the Cherry Blossoms. Aya (Aya, took my position working with Mary and the Trainees at the firm.) had a Traditional Japanese Wedding Ceremony which was SO beautiful. When she walked into the room everyone gasped, she looked like a porcelain doll. We didn't get very good pictures of the ceremony :( and they changed their clothes for the reception. It was a beautiful wedding at a place called Top of the Town which had amazing views of the city. In some of the pictures we took you can see the Washington Monument and in others, the Iwa Jiima Memorial in the background.Aya's theme was Cherry Blossoms (her husband is American and she is Japanese and they said the D.C. Cherry Blossoms symbolism of the two counties friendship was also symbolic to their marriage.) SO beautiful, I LOVE it!After the wedding Radik and I realized we hadn't spent time at the Tidal Basin yet and I was leaving the following week to go home for Dad's surgery (thanks so much to a wonderful family friend for making that possible for me!). So, we decided that we had to go see the Blossoms after the wedding. The blossoms were beautiful but traffic and parking was a nightmare. We ended up deciding to just look at them as we waited in traffic for an hour. Since traffic was taking forever I asked Radik to run out and pose for a picture. Then we figured there was enough time for both of us to run out and have the car in front of us take a picture. Then Radik ended up running closer to the Tidal Basin to take pictures for me. Traffic started picking up and I lost Radik. I was getting so worried that I'd have to get on the Interstate and would really loose him (he left his phone in the car). Just as cars were honking and I wasn't sure what to do I saw him running like crazy with a big smile on his face. We were cracking up when we looked at the pictures. It actually looked like we spent some quality time enjoying the blossoms. ;-)

These videos didn't turn out too good but I thought I'd still post them. Mary was joking that the first video looked like Radik was running away from her. ;-) He was sweet and really did spend time dancing with cute Mary.
