Feeling Suspiciously Happy

I can't believe it is November! I REALLY can't believe the holidays are just around the corner! Gosh, so much has happened since August. August was full of enjoying outdoor movies in the park, the driving range, saying goodbye to close friends and visits from lovely friends, cupcake classes, finding any excuse not to go to EMT class and then the lovely month of September came and I was able to fly home to enjoy family, kiss Bree's pregnant belly of goodness and celebrate my two love bird parent's 30th anniversary. I just love my family SO very much. Visits are always too short. My parents are my best friends and my siblings really are the coolest people in the world. I of course enjoyed celebrating my birthday as well and thanks to Radik, was able to stretch it out to that last weekend of September. ;-) October was a really heavy month emotionally and physically and I'm happy its over. :( Now it's November and I'm feeling suspiciously happy.

Underwater Hot Springs fun and City of Rocks. 09/2009

These are a few pics that were on my camera from the past few months. I had asked for a driver for my birthday (I usually just use the clubs at the driving range and lately the right handed drivers had been broken) I got the above set of clubs a few days later from Radik. Cracked me up. I did end up getting a really nice driver from him on my Bday. Along with so many other wonderful treats from my cute fam and friends.

I use to give Radik such a hard time about his lack of gift giving skills. :( He is so sweet and really has become one of the best gift givers in the world. A couple of months ago I got a huge package in the mail as I opened it rice came flying out. Sneaky Radik! Smaller cute wrapped boxes kept following until I reached an envelope with a four paged, very sweet letter from him that he wrote in Russian. He later read and translated it to me as we had a picnic near the Potomac in Old Town. Arg, why are other languages so tender and English seems so dull? Very sweet. The letter was something I had asked for him to give me on Valentines Day and was sad I never got it. Sheesh, I get so bummed when I don't get what I ask for. ;-) But, the timing and packaging it came in really was all him and oh so sweet.Radik's first baseball game! Mmm! Radik surprised me one night by showing up at my door with cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery in NYC. I couldn't believe he hadn't eaten any on his drive down. He couldn't believe it either and said it was so very difficult. ;-) He's known for eating the gifts we are taking to people.
Halloween Pumpkin Carving Contest 2009! ;-) Which one do you think should have won?Spent Halloween with some great chica's at the DC Rollergirls Derby and much fun continued into the night!
This past weekend Radik bought me a bus ticket to NY and when I got there we took the train to NJ to see Rich, Chrislynn and the kids. Gosh those two munchkins really are so much fun. We also got to see Richie's show before it closed.

Giselle! Did you know I saw 'you' today? This girl walking down the street has the SAME face as YOU! It was crazy. I turned to watch her, all the while I was driving. Kinda dangerous, but you know me. Anyway, the light turned red, I didn't know it and almost rear-ended the car in front of me that stopped (like anyone normally would at a red light)! Anyway, it's because I couldn't take my eyes off this girl, I really thought for a second that it was you! When I realized that it wasn't, I kept staring in dis-belief at how much she looked like you. This just happened like 30 minutes ago! I was going to email you about it, but saw this new post! YAY for the update!

love,
Twin Seeker & Finder

p.s. You have a BEAUTIFUL face ;0)

p.s.s This sounds like a made up story, but I swear it really did just happen!!!
